The Urban Farm Belt - 5th Ward District

A collaboration between Urban Harvest, Recipe For Sucess, Central City Co-op, Texas Together, Pat Greer's Ya Ya's Raw Food, Ken Crimmin's Farmart Industries and the Last Organic Outpost.

We invite churches, community leaders, backyard gardeners and all others to participate in this effort to bring local agriculture to the inner city.

We are looking for resources, volunteers and land to support this effort.

Starting with the 5th Ward we are building a big effort to create a local food economy in Houston's inner city.

Interested? We meet the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 4:00.
